The first construction contract to build Honolulu Rail Transit
has been awarded to Kiewit Pacific Co. This will cover the first
61/2 miles from Kapolei to Pearl Highlands close to Leeward
Community College . In the near future this area will become
a city like Honolulu.
Kiewit Pacific Co. is a 125 year old mega construction company
which builds only the largest and most difficult projects. They
build airports, dams, nuclear power plants, all types of mass
transit systems, bridges, super structures , you name it and
if it's big and difficult they build it.
